More: Sonny came to us in February after my 18 year old chihuahua and my husbands 10 year olds Saint Bernard passed. We found him on Craigslist, he was a stud dog at a breeder and they didn’t need him anymore for breeding and wanted him to be adopted as a pet. He came to us very friendly but shy and under socialized, as he lived in a barn and never been inside. In the past couple months he has blossomed and is thriving! He now enjoys going on walks, playing with toys , and is a lover of all people and all dogs. We needed him as much as he needed us and we are so lucky to have such a loving best friend.
