More: We adopted Sookie from a shelter in Detroit on October 1st, 2016. They found her wandering around by herself in the city when she was just 5 months old. She’s cursed with bad allergies and IBS, but she doesn’t let that stop her from playing ball and zooming around in our yard with her brother, Bodhi. She is the biggest couch potato and bed hog. She is the last one out of bed each morning, and watching her strut down the stairs and stretch makes us smile every day.
