More: I found Sophie at the local animal shelter in July 2021. In March 2021 she was hit by a car, picked up by the local animal shelter and taken to a vet who had to put pins in her front left leg… then taken back to the shelter where she sat… unclaimed for 4 months. She wasn’t available to adopt due to being on medical hold, but I was able to apply to foster her. I submitted a foster application and started fostering her on 8 July. This pic was take 13 July. I was then able to adopt her on 23 July. Her leg still isn’t healed but the pins are out and she is doing great. Not sure who is happier…me, or Sophie. ❤️🐾
