More: I’m allergic to all dogs and cats, and decided to take the plunge and get a dog because my husband has always wanted one. I went out and bought antihistamines, nasal sprays, and more. We got her from a breeder but feel like we rescued her. She was the runt of the litter that no one wanted. She hadn’t been groomed and looked terrible. She had tummy parasites and ear mites. She was scrawny. Not the dog we thought we’d choose, but she and my hubby bonded instantly. God blessed me with this sweet girl and I’m not even a bit allergic. I was never a “dog lover” but she has converted me! She is smart, loving and brings us tons of joy. She is bug free and healthy and turned out to be adorable.
