More: Sparkie is a miracle survivor. In 2018 he was diagnosed with a brain disease. Because he needed an MRI and special treatment was not available in Southwest Missouri, he was placed on a waiting list for treatment at Missouri States Vet hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He barely survived, waiting almost two weeks for diagnosis and treatment, being fed through a dropper and laying in my lap while I worked. We are thankful for his recovery and continued improvement. Our wish is for more specialized care for all dogs in Southwest Missouri.
