More: Stanley originally came to me with the intention of finding him a home after bouncing in and out of a shelter2-3 times. Something happened since the first night he came over, I think he saw something in me, as I did in him...and I knew he was meant to stay. As one might know, Pappillon is French for Butterfly...around the same time that I met Stanley, my mom had died of Stage 4 Cancer..she was an artist and her signature was the Butterfly, she loved them so...I'd like to think that Stanley came to me for a reason, one in which he was never meant to leave...to keep an eye on me.
