More: Both of my dogs are rescues from Puerto Rico. The stray dog population in Puerto Rico is very problematic, and most rescues that operate in Puerto Rico are run only by volunteers and donations. They receive very little public support. I am a veterinarian, and I have helped the rescue by having dogs flown up to Seattle, and then rehome them here, and send the adoption fees back to Puerto Rico. The rescues could use all the recognition they can get, and donations to help them get more dogs off the streets. These two dogs are the sweetest, most grateful dogs I have ever had!
