More: Sully was an amazing member of our family. He loved to go to the Veteran Administration Hospital and visit the veterans. You must get approval to take your dog to the hospital. On Sully’s first visit he received approval for lifetime visits. He had no training, but he went into the hospital and was a pro. If someone were in a wheelchair and could not move their arms but could move their hands. Sully would go sit by the wheelchair so the veteran could rub him and put his head in the veteran’s lap. Also, for bedridden patients Sully would figure out which side of the bed to go to that allowed the veteran the ability to pet him. He loved to swim as pictured above.
