More: Tiffi and Minnie came from the same kennel in Washington State. Unfortunately their human breeder mom passed away unexpectedly in Nov 2020, having never met Minnie (who was born in December 2020) and leaving the then 5yr old Tiffi (the human breeder mom's favorite Cavalier) heartbroken with grief. As a recent retiree, in January 2021 I adopted Tiffi (who had previously birthed 3 litters!) in hopes of helping her recover from her grief, and to give her a new life in our shared retirement that would be filled with hiking, hugs and boating adventures . Upon Minnie reaching 8 weeks old in February 2021, I then adopted her as well. Tiffi (while not Minnie's birth mom) has been instrumental in helping to raise Minnie. Both girls are retirement gifts from my partner who facilitated their adoptions, and both love going for walks, hikes, and boating, along with chasing bugs in the garden....what an amazing transition into retirement it has been for me (and likely Tiffi too!)! :)
