More: Tobi was born during the Covid lockdown, and was one of the last two left from her litter. She and her litter brother are both ridgeless Ridgebacks (and are seen to be less desirable by some). We were lucky enough to be talked in to "taking her in" by our neighbor across the street who had gotten the brother and was fostering Tobi at the time. She sees her brother almost every day, and they enjoy going to the dog beach, to the open field to get some energy out, going on walks and snuggling. She came in our house at a time when her teenage human brother was recovering from an illness, and she instinctively began taking care of him. Tobi sleeps in his room at night and helped get him out of bed to take her on walks, to play, and be taken care of. They are both thriving now!
