More: Toons is a rescue who was owned by an elderly couple in Columbus, OH for her first 6 years. I think she spent them inside on the lady’s lap. When the gentleman died, Toons was put up for adoption, as the lady could not care for her. I found her on Petfinders.com, flew from Vermont to Columbus on a Saturday morning and flew her home that afternoon. Since then, she has had many adventures, like hiking Mt. Philo, Kayaking on Lake Champlain, visiting Dog Mountain and, her favorite, riding in her basket on the bike path.
