More: Trapper had two other families before we adopted him at the age of 1 from the humane society of western Montana. He’s the best pheasant hunter my father in law has ever seen (and he’s seen a lot!) and is the best dog we could have ever dreamed of. We feel so blessed to have him in our lives. He even inspired me to change career paths after he had knee surgery- I’m now a canine rehab therapist and help dogs recover from injuries.
