More: Tucker was only 7 weeks old & going to be put down by a back yard breeder, because he had a high grade heart murmur. A neighbor asked him, to give Tucker to me. (I work with lots of rescues & local shelters) I had recently lost a son & my senior golden retriever had also passed away. I wasn't sure if I was ready to take on a puppy. And I wasn't sure if he would live a year or 10 yrs. Needless to say, I rescued him, or maybe he rescued me! Either way, he still has a murmur (now a grade 2-3) Surprisingly he's very active & loves the out doors. We can't walk past any body of water! He's gone through full training & goes everywhere with me, even grocery shopping. His trainer was so impressed with his intelligence, He put him in a training video with a helicopter flying over head! Tucker is still a bit of a momma's boy, And I wouldn't have it any other way! He is truely my best friend.
