More: As with every pet we've ever had, they're both rescues. They're best friends and I'm fact Violet's nickname is Kudzu because she clings to Teddy at all times. Pesky and invasive. ha! We adopted Violet after Teddy lost his best friend and mentor Roxie Love from lymphoma. She was a black Lab mix with a heart of gold and Teddy was as devastated as we were. He needed some hot in his life so we adopted Violet when she was just 10 weeks old from the Atlanta Humane Society. We knew Roxie (orchestrating from above) had chosen the perfect puppy for Teddy. They were instant best friends and did everything together right from the start. And boy, do they play!!!
