More: Vita was rescued from a shelter by Golden Beginnings Golden Retriever Rescue of Houston, TX. She was being transported by my husband and I to her foster family 9 years ago! When we picked her up from the shelter she was very underweight , full of fleas, had knotted fur & infections in both ears!! But…. On her way to her foster home Vita kept looking into my husband’s eyes and putting her head on his shoulder saying “Thank You for rescuing me!” We decided to stop by our home to see how she would fit in with our other dogs and long story short she never left!! She’s always at my husband’s side constantly thanking him for her Golden Beginning! By the way, Vita means life In Italian & Latin. Vita received her new life when she joined Golden Beginnings and our family!
