More: Wilbur is a pocket powerhouse! Weighing in at only 30 lbs, at just one year old he is already a bird pointing machine! Due to the untimely loss of his predecessor, Blaze, to canine cancer, Wilbur started his hunting career at just 3 and a half months old. He quickly showed that he was a pointing prodigy! But more than that, he is my best buddy, going not just hunting, but fishing, hiking, and pretty much anyplace they allow dogs with me! He is also the official “spokesdog” of my dental office, and stars in a weekly feature on our office Facebook page called “Weekends with Wilbur”. Our patients come in every day asking “How’s Wilbur?”
