More: Willie is an incredible dog. We got him originally to duck hunt, but when he was a pup on his first 4th of July, a neighbor threw a firework next to him and he sprinted off and was gone for 3 days. We found him but he was scared of claps or any loud noise. We worked with him twice a week on noise sensitivity finally getting to where we felt comfortable hunting. He’s not a huge fan of duck hunting being so close to the guns, but he LOVES pheasant hunting. He’s also an all around great dog.
