More: The day we got willow was the start of an incredible journey. We got her when she was 6 months put in a rigorous 4 months of training and at 10 months headed out on her first day of Pennsylvania pheasant season. The past 7 years have been more rewarding than i could have ever dreamed. Weve average 75-100 flushes of state birds each year and have only lost 1 downed bird in all that time. I volunteer at local sportsmans clubs and run her for the youth hunts and she never lets the kids down. We get so many compliments on her skills,behavior and demeanor the kids all love her and ask if they can hunt with her again. Beyond her hunting skills shes the most loving affectionate and devoted dog ive ever owned. Needless to say she is truly my best friend.
