More: Winnie spent her whole 3 1/2 years on the streets of Hermosillo, Mexico when she was pulled off the streets and put in a shelter there. Unfortunately they were running out of room qt the shelter. Caring for Canines, a great rescue in Phoenix, drove down and rescued her. I was lucky enough to adopt her a week later. Winnie is delightful! She went from terrified pup and gas blossomed into a happy, loving, joyous best friend! She is always the first to run up to people with a wagging tail and a big smile and brings joy to all who meet her!
