More: My wife and I worked in the Eastern Province of Zambia, near the Malawi border until March 2020 when we were evacuated to the U.S. because of COVID-19. Woodrow came to live us a couple of years earlier, joining us and our other dog, Gus. When we returned home in March 2020 we thought we’d be returning in a couple of months but that didn’t happen. In February of this year, we returned Zambia and brought Gus and Woodrow back to Atlanta with us.
