More: Wylie is our family’s first dog. My husband grew up with Borders and always wanted one. I surprised him on Valentine’s Day this year with a picture and deposit on Wylie. The kids got him as a surprise on 4th of July. We heard the announcer saying on Westminster that all of the border collies were “Wily little guys” and the name stuck with us (Scottish spelling). Wylie loves the beach and hiking and is a joy for our family in these tough covid times. He does a great job herding our chickens and goats on our small farm.
