More: We adopted Zalia when she was about 2 months old. She was abandoned in a box on the side of the road and 8 pounds underweight. The vet thinks she never had the chance to nurse before she was rescued. We are a family of 5, and Zalia has brought us so much joy and healing after losing our Golden Retriever at age 14. We have also taught her how to love and trust. She would love to win this contest!
