More: Zero was a gift to my sons from my cousin--himself an accomplished bird hunter--after a battle with cancer took our beloved eight-year-old chocolate lab--their first dog. Zero was named by my boys, 3 and 5, for their favorite number. His beauty is only eclipsed by the love he shares with our family.
