More: Zeus was being sold out on a street corner by a backyard breeder. He was not in good shape and at 15 weeks old was not socialized either. A volunteer with a rescue persuaded the breeder to sell her Zeus and his two siblings. Zeus came to us the next day. He is an amazing dog and been a lifesaver for my husband, a disabled firefighter who suffers from balance issues, depression and chronic pain. He is now a balance and support service dog, receiving training through Starfleet Service Dogs. He is also part of Bruce’s treatment for depression. Zeus gives Bruce everything he has. He is the most loyal dog I have ever seen.
