More: I had an older dog, who was still healthy. One day on a rainy afternoon in April something told me to drive to the nearest animal shelter, so I did. Being an animal owner all my life I realized the importance of having enough spacious room for another dog. I brought home more stray animals as a child my mother was always upset. So , I walked into the shelter and was guided to puppies for adoption. Well, I looked down and saw the smallest little pup. I picked him up and cuddled him in my palms. I fell so in love with him. After speaking about how to adopt him, I realized I didn’t have enough money. I explained my situation and said I would have enough money the next day. Much more to that. I did not want to leave this little guy they had named ALEX behind. I drove home very sad. I awakened early the next morning and returned to the Humane Society facility. I walked over to Alex’s crate and he was not there. I walked up to the busy counter and asked about ALEX. I was told that he was currently being adopted by a Husband and wife with their small son. I decided to walk down the isle and look for another possible pup. After a few minutes an employee walked up and asked me if I was the person who had been trying to adopt ALEX. Surprised, I answered yes, he told me that the people who were in the process of adopting ALEX heard about my situation and let ME bring him home! Things are meant to be, he is my best friend ever. He loves, trusts and teaches me everyday. We were meant to be. Looking at him sleeping, sometimes listening to his dreaming. Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans.
