More: In the image, Burly was about 6 yrs old. Sadly he crossed the rainbow bridge last October at 10yrs and 1 day old from cancer. He was our first born, the best Ghillie and a had the deepest brown eyes. He was born in WA, lived in OR, NH and ME before ending his days on a blueberry farm in NW NJ. We worked, hiked, hunted, fished and loafed the whole way. He is greatly missing among our family and friends. We were lucky enough to introduce our second Griff, Hatcher (Hatch), to the family last February, and Burl and he lived it up all the way to the end, passing on to Hatch his endearing nature! He truly lived a burly life, and we are all the better for it!
