More: Elvis is a tireless, goofy 3-year-old "Slovak," as they're affectionately called. He was a hand-me-down bird dog that we brought into our family when his original owner recognized he had a bit more energy than they could manage. And energy is certainly something he does have! He's not terribly interested in pointing upland birds, but does love to point his beloved ball and join me as my trail-running buddy (I've yet to run far enough to wear him out)! He's quite the character with his wild beard, and he never misses an opportunity to counter surf for goodies, flop in the baby pool with our kids, and steal our pillows at bedtime, but we love him regardless!
