More: Finn is a 10-year-old, field-bred English Setter that was dropped off at a shelter at 7 months old after his original owners said he couldn't be trained to hunt. I saw him running the fence line of the local animal rescue, pointing birds, and immediately scheduled a visit to meet him. We brought him home and it quickly became apparent that with just a little direction, Finn had all the pieces to be a great hunting companion. 10 years later, he's still hunting in the fields of western Pennsylvania with us and shows no signs of slowing down. We're lucky to have had the opportunity to bring him home a decade ago, and blessed that he still enthusiastically joins us on hunts today.
