More: Major is happiest when, besides being with people, there’s water and something to retrieve. We never had to teach him to swim or retrieve—it was simply in him from the start. Our sweet, gentle and quiet boy lives for a good swim, proudly bringing back his favorite toy with plenty of enthusiasm (and splashes) along the way. For Major, every day in the water is an adventure.
