Jada
Life is Beautiful - Nature Therapy
Owner: Sylvia
Breed: Doberman Pincher
Age: 4
More: We rescued Jada at a grocery parking lot at five months. It was noticeable that one front limb was longer than the other. Her first 3.5 years at OSU Veterinary Medical Clinic and Hospital for animal companions consisted of diagnostics, treatments and therapy for congenital issues. Last year at an appointment at OSU she experienced and fully recovered from cardiac arrest, a miracle within itself. Jada enjoys life each day even living with daily pain as a puppy. She was diagnosed with osteoarthritis, elbow dysplasia ( in both), her wrists are deformed as she can not rotate or bend them, and has deformities in her neck region. Jada enjoys walks 1/4 or 1/2 mile on most days and can surprisingly run fast for short intervals, her favorite months are fall/winter. Jada is a survivor, loves life! Besides her rescuing us, we do not know what her mission in life is - perhaps being featured on a magazine cover sharing her physical disabilities as we allow her to do dog things to her potential. Thank you for your support of animal research.
