Martha I found in a ditch with one of her puppies in 2023. They had been there for several days, in the heat without food or water. Initially, I was fairly confident that martha was knocking on deaths door. She was full of tumors and had many external injuries. Turns out, she just needed a big surgery and a cozy bed and lots of love. Though she is blind, she has no issue hunting and scavenging for grouse and chipmunks - she is our little Benjamin button and we adore her!
