More: Lucy was put in a high-kill shelter in SW VA when she was 6 mo. old. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue rescued her and I adopted her. She came perfectly socialized, was not feral, and has a very sweet, charming temperament (what you see is very much her). It will always be a head-scratcher why someone put her in a high-kill shelter.
