More: Molly’s story began as “Sky” in a high-kill shelter in Greenville, Texas—where, incredibly, she found herself twice. When a friend told us about her, I made the eight-hour drive to bring her home, and Sky became Molly. Today, it’s impossible to imagine our family without her. Our gentle giant has appointed herself leader, protector, and referee of a little pack that includes two cats and Mali, our Boykinador. She takes treats with the gentlest touch, watches over everyone she loves, and believes no family hug is complete without her. And although she’s now a Louisiana girl, her Husky side comes alive when the rare snow falls.
