More: Onyx is a rescue with a rescue story. She was found on the side of the road and had just given birth to puppies. The rescue workers tried to find the puppies but were unable to locate them. She was in horrible shape, and they did not think she would make it. I volunteer at the rescue that had her, and wasn't ready to adopt again, but she came running and jumped into my lap. We have been saving each other for almost 4 months now.
