More: Ruby is a rescue pup who joined our family last fall, and brought a lot of anxieties. While she’s scared of the dark, and of big city noises, we’ve learned that nature is her safe space, and incredibly regulating for her… not unlike for us, really! We’ve embraced this and are thrilled to be building memories together outdoors. After some shorter practice hikes, we summited Penobscot in Acadia a few weeks ago. We’re proud of this brave girl!
