Sterling

My handsome STERLING

More: Sterling was adopted from a shelter in San Bernardino but was returned because the adopter claimed she wanted a healthy puppy. At the time, Sterling was suffering from kennel cough. Unfortunately, the shelter where he was returned is known for euthanizing animals almost routinely, often for minor reasons. Fortunately, a compassionate woman from Room for One More Rescue discovered him just two hours before his scheduled euthanasia, on the day he was to be put down. He was then transferred to a foster home, where two dedicated individuals skillfully nursed him back to health. It was during this recovery period that I found Sterling and immediately fell in love with him. I adopted Sterling on May 7, 2026, and since then, we have formed an unbreakable bond, made possible by Room for One More Rescue’s selfless efforts to save animals like him.
