More: Waffles is a great outdoor explorer of Texas. He’s never one to shy away from a challenging hike, and I often call him “my little mountain goat.” Waffles is happiest when he’s camping, swimming, and getting lost in the wild. Right after this picture was taken, a wild buffalo walked through our camp site. Waffles calmly watched it pass with curiosity. That moment reflected how purely sweet-natured he is, and how much he loves every person and critter he meets.
