More: Zeus was rescued from a research lab in 2022. When I took him home that was the first time he’s been outside in all three years of his life. He was terrified of everything. It was months of gaining his trust and showing him the world is not so scary. This photo was about one year after his adoption and his first hike. Four years later and he has learned to be a dog! We are so proud of how far he’s come and the mountains he climbed!
