More: This was Heidi's first fishing trip with us, after we got her from German Shepherd Rescue of Northern California. She decided on her own to wade with me. She's an extremely polite, sweet shepherd who gets the paper in the morning and keeps the squirrels out of the garden. She loves going out into the country to hunt trout at least as much as I do -- a great fishing partner.
