More: Dolly was a stray dog. She arrived at my doorstep three months after losing my previous dog and only one month prior to relocating to another city. I was going through a difficult separation. She had heartworms and tapeworms, but I knew she was worth saving. She endured difficult heartworm treatments. She has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. We needed each other, but I needed her more. In June 2020, Dolly survived two invasive surgeries to remove a large mast cell tumor. One year later, we took her to the beach for the first time. Dolly wakes up joyful every day and loves with all her heart. Dogs are angels with fur.
