More: We adopted Smokey as a rescue in 2019. He was a failed hunting dog and his former owner told the rescue organization that if they didn’t take him that he would have to shoot him. Thankfully the rescue saved him and it was love at first sight when we saw him. He is the funniest, goofiest dog. There are so many dogs in rescue just waiting for a chance to find their perfect home. We have adopted two other senior dogs recently and love them all!
