More: Eli was adopted at 4 months old. As young as he was, he was a rescue from Adopt a Golden Atlanta. He was rescued from a breeder's hoarding situation ( he had 80-plus Golden Retrievers). Several rescue groups got together and got all the dogs. We hope Eli doesn't remember his chaotic early life. He now lives in a country-like setting in the forest, where he has his own fenced-in acre of land to explore. Currently he is excited by finding toads at dawn, which Mama won't let him eat. He also is obsessed with squirrels, chipmunks and deer.
