More: Alpine was a rescue from New Orleans. My husband and I moved there from Maine for a time and soon after arriving, Alpine became our first dog together as a couple and my best friend. She was very shy and unsocialized. She taught me so much and I learned how to train a dog with positive reinforcement and it lead me to getting a Certification in Dog Training. Alpine is the best dog and friend anyone could ask for and everyone adores her. We are extremely close and we've done so much together from learning many advanced tricks, to agility, to backpacking trips, to being my art market buddy. She is very smart and listens wonderfully off leash. Alpine is very intuitive and sensitive in a way that she seems to understand more than other dogs normally do. She'd do anything for me and I for her. She's our family and we can't imagine life without her.
