More: I adopted Amber from the shelter back in 2011 and she had been my best friend since! On February 18, 2021 Amber got diagnosed with osteosarcoma and I was told that without chemo she had about 8 weeks to live… in June I made the decision to amputated leg, because even though she was in pain sh still had a lot of energy and spunk! It was the best decision I’ve ever made! She’s been living her best life and enjoys the boat, the beach, mountain hikes and everything else she did with her 4 legs!
