Amigo (Ami)

Surveying the valley below

More: Ami was a Street dog in Bolivia, where we lived from 2017-2020. He showed up at our house in February 2018 and wouldn’t leave. We eventually fed him and accepted that he had adopted us as his new family! We have had many adventures together, including flying back to the US and road tripping up to Pennsylvania from Florida in early March 2020! After chasing squirrels, Ami’s most favorite activities are going for hikes and going for runs. A dog DNA test says he is 26% chihuahua, which blows my mind. It also says he has 16% Pekineses, 12% Peruvian Inca Orchid, 11% German Shepard, and 16 other breeds of 5% or less.. a true street dog mutt. There is a Bolivian Inca dog and we wonder if that’s actually in his DNA but too rare to show up in a test.
