More: Aretha was bred and raised by Duo Dogs, Inc. The intention was for her to be service dog. During her advanced training, it was decided that she would not meet all of their requirements. As her puppy raiser, I was given the opportunity to adopt her. I am planning to train her, through Duo, to be a therapy dog. Together, she and I will be able to visit hospitals, schools and retirement centers to bring smiles to many people. We look forward to the next chapter of her life!
