More: We lost my dream dog a 219# Saint Bernard in November of 2019. I had previous been introduced to this frenchie breeder but wanted to focus on our time left with our Saint as this was our second Saint and we know their time is limited. After losing Oliver, my Saint ,whom lived up to the word by every definition, I went to Lisa’s (breeder) to meet this litter . Came home, cried. I couldn’t do it. This is not who I am, I am a big dog person. Slept on it , prayed over it and drank on it . 😂 Fast forward two years, Axel sleeps in bed on my pillow next to me, has more clothes than my husband , rides shotgun in my backpack on my bicycle , is known around Standale Michigan as he has been on the local news doggie section ( I have the pet editor saved in my contacts, God bless Patti) and is adored at my “fun” job as a school bus driver by my co workers and my students whom enjoy all the new outfits and poses I capture of Axel and display in my bus . It’s not the size , it’s the unlimited outpouring of affection . We are all blessed by dogs . Truly angels on earth .
