More: Bella is a rescue from the streets of Los Angeles. I am estimating her age based on when she was taken into the humane society after she was hit by a car at a very young age. She was transferred to a Chihuahua Rescue in Wisconsin in hopes of finding a forever home. It wasn’t easy as Bella has irritable bowel syndrome and I believe she was abused because she had accidents in the house. It was obvious to me that she didn’t want to potty on the floor but couldn’t help it since she didn’t feel well. It took a few months, lots of accidents and plenty of vet visits to find the right food for her sensitive tummy. Once we found it she has been like a different little dog. She has thrived and is now a country dog in and loving life and I can’t imagine life without her.
