Bentley & Bailey

Merry Christmas, love Bentley & Bailey Johnson

More: Bentley was just a baby when I got him from a professional breeder after my other passed away from heart failure at 15 years old. I was so sad, I knew to help, I wanted another dog. Bentleys parents just had a litter and they were all adorable. Bentley stood out to me though really fast. He was dragging this long, stuffed toy into my lap so we could play tug-of-war. I knew right away he belonged was with me. After a couple weeks, we thought maybe he should have a little brother or sister to play with. On Valentine's Day 2015, I found Bailey in a shelter. He showed signs of neglect, abandonment issues and depression. He had been there two weeks and refused to eat. He was just 2 years old and they said they may have to put him to sleep. When I had picked him up, again I felt in my heart again, he belongs with me. He was so sad and depressed, if I wasn't holding him, Bentley was right next to him. Bentley never left his Bailey's side. They became really close brothers, to where its hard to separate them. Bentley showed him how to love and has protected him when needed. Bailey is now in perfect health and expects a hug every second of the day. I would not go back and change my decisions, as these dogs were made to be a family. They've even shown their new little brother how play, live and love. When I recommend a good dog breed to people, I always recommend a bichon. I've had to unbelievable, amazing bichon's in my life. Bentley gave Bailey a will to live and love and he will pass that will to anyone he encounters.
