More: Bernard absolutely loves hiking and adventuring! We camp as often as possible. The bassets occasionally prefer to be packed in my backpack when the trails are too long or steep. But they love smelling everything along the trails. Sadly, on 8/30/2021, we lost our Renegade due to a seizure disorder. Camping and hiking aren’t the same without him.
